Three branch executives of the National Democratic Congress in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) constituency in the Central Region have called on the national executives of the NDC to disqualify two aspirants in the upcoming parliamentary primaries in the KEEA constituency.

According to the branch executives of the party, the two candidates used their names to fill their forms without their consent and forged their signatures as well.  When the act was detected, the regional executives of the party were petitioned but they allowed the two candidates to go through the vetting process.

The three branch executives are threatening to go to court should the national executives of the party fail to disqualify them to sanitize the process.

In an interview with joy news, one of the complainants, Sammy Quaicoe, a branch executive, alleged that an aspirant, Joshua Egyaadu Nketsiah, used his name to fill the forms and forged his   signature, party ID card number to fill his forms without his consent.

Another branch executive, Mabel Arhin also alleged same that aspirant Egyaadu Nketsiah also forged her signature and faked her party ID card number to fill his forms without her permission.

Sam Isaac Paa, another branch executive also alleged that aspirant Daniel Austin Ankomah forged his signature and faked his party ID card number to perpetrate a similar act.

The three branch executives disclosed that they made every effort for the Central Regional vetting committee to deal with the issues prior to the vetting of the two but that never yielded any results.

When joy news spoke to the KEEA NDC constituency chairman, John Quaicoe a.k.a. Wontumi Ntaake, he confirmed the act but said he has done what he is supposed to do per the party's guidelines to address the issues raised but it was unfortunate the situation stood.

Attempts to speak to the two aspirants of the party have not been successful. The two aspirants are contesting the upcoming primaries with incumbent member of parliament for KEEA, Samuel Mills.
