Division One League board chairman, Kwame Ntow Finakoo, has quit his post as the chairman of Board.
The Accra-based lawyer has left his post after serving the division one league for over eighteen years.
It is believed that Mr. Ntow Fianko was not happy with the postponement of the Division One League without his consent, after he publicly announced that the matches will come off on November 9 and 10.
Mr. Fianko was frustrated by allegations of being side-stepped in the running of Ghana’s second tier league.
“I have nothing more to do with Division One Board again,” Mr. Fianko told Myjoyonline.com.
“I have worked as a member, vice chairman to chairman for all these years but not any more.
“I have the right to resign and nobody can question it. I have been working for the division one league board for eighteen years now.
"I am now thinking about my court cases but not division one."
