Ghana head coach of the  Local Black Stars, Maxwell Konadu has injected a new blood  to his starting line-up against Libya on Friday afternoon by replacing  with Kotoko's captain Michael Akuffo due to injury

The Berekum Chelsea defensive midfielder, Jackson Owusu  picked up a hamstring injury and cannot be fielded against the North Africans in the top-of-the-table Group C clash at the Free State Stadium.

Akuffo was a regular in the starting line-up for Ghana when they lifted the Wafu Nations Cup on home soil last year.

The Kotoko leader is bent on solidifying the midfield as supporters wish to witness.
