Seth Kwadwo Nyarko Antwi, an aspirant for the Eastern Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, has challenged delegates to vote for the best candidates who have the ability to ensure victory for the party in 2016.
He has therefore warned against monetary consideration whereby the highest bidder is elected to represent the interest of the region.
Declaring that he is the best, so far as the organizer slot is concerned, Seth Antwi remarked that 2016 will be a crucial election year for the party, but he is hopeful his mission and vision for the party will return the NPP to power.
He emphasized, “My vision is for NPP to clinch power in 2016 and save Ghanaians from unbearable hardships as a result of President Mahama’s bad and mismanaged administration.”
The organizer aspirant promised to organize regular forums to educate party faithful and Ghanaians in general about happenings in the country and what the party has in stock for them.
He also pledged to mobilize resources to carry out party activities in the region without necessarily relying on the national headquarters. He said he intends to adopt a bottom-up approach as the organizer in gathering grassroots views and inputs to the national level.
Mr. Nyarko Antwi, popularly called Sethoo, disclosed that his campaign strategy for the party in 2016 will be in form of story-telling, where success stories of former President Kofuor would be told to contrast the abysmal performance of the NDC-led government.
Sethoo is a chemical microbiologist and a researcher at the University of Ghana and currently works at Atua Government Hospital, Odumase krobo.
He would be battling five other contestants for the NPP Eastern regional organizer position.
