The Infinix Hot 8 was available for retail on the Ghanaian Market on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The device, which has fast captured the hearts of many due to its affordable pricing and wonderful features, has been a big hit on the Ghanaian Smartphone scene with 6000 pieces sold on the day of release.
According to major retailers in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, they are currently facing shortages of both the Hot 8 and the Hot 8 lite.
The 4G variant of the Hot 8 retails at GHS 569 while the 3G enabled Hot 8 Lite goes for GHS 499.
Multiple consumers on the Infinix Ghana facebook and twitter pages have even offered to pay more to get the device, according to the manufacturers.
Retailers have also had lots of customers walk in asking for the Hot 8 and looking to pay more.
According to an Infinix Ghana spokesperson, Infinix is committed to keeping the price low and new stock of the Hot 8 will be available on Monday and Infinix lovers can get their hands on it.
The Infinix Hot 8 and Hot 8 lite were launched at the Infinix Invasion concert which was headlined by Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The Hot 8 is a 4G enabled smartphone from the Infinix lineup, featuring a triple rear camera setup and a massive battery which lasts all day when playing games and using social media. If you are looking for a decent phone, want to stay in style and want a faster browsing experience, the Hot 8 is a good buy for you.
It also comes with a sweet facial unlock feature and a big 6.6-inch display and a beautiful teardrop notch.
