Ghana midfielder Michael Akuffo is confident about the Local Black Stars progress to the next stage of the CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Ghana after winning their opening game against Congo and drawing the second game with Libya will come up against Ethiopia on Tuesday(Today) in the final Group C fixture, needing at least a draw to book a quarter final berth.
Ethiopia who were considered as tournament favourites ahead of the showpiece are out of contention after losing their two opening matches.
“Our destiny is in our hands now and we have no other option than to win the game for ourselves and Ghanaians as well,” said Michael Akuffo in an interview with Joy sports
“Personally I have seen an improvement in our team from game to game and I believe with the right attitude and approach to this game we will finish off the Ethiopians.
“They Ethiopians have lost two games and we all know they are out so pressure is now on us to deliver but I believe we have what it takes to make it to the next stage.”
