A subchief in Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern Region, Nana Effah Pinamang III, who was recently destooled by the Kwahu Paramount Chief, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, has been reinstated.
This was after the Akwamuhene, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, led a 15-member delegation to Kwahu Abene to intercede on his behalf.
The delegation included Akwamu Krontihene, Nana Asare Akowua IV, Akwamu Nifahene, Nana Ofei, Nana Ansah Prem, Nana Samanhyia Darko and others.
The Obomenghene, Nana Effah Pinamang III, was recently destooled after he was found culpable of stated misbehaviour.
At the meeting, which took place on Tuesday, November 19, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto made an emotional appeal with the Kwahumanhene and elders of Kwahuman on behalf of Nana Effah Pinamang III, who he described as his nephew.
After listening to the pleading from the eminent traditional leader, the Kwahumanhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, accepted and reinstated the subchief.

Speaking on behalf of Daasebre at the meeting, Kwahu Adontenghene, Okyemfuo Asiedu Agyeman, indicated that some issues and disagreements led to the ultimate destoolment of the Obomenghene.
“We have now settled whatever difference that existed between us,” he announced.
According to him, the Obomenghene will be counseled to prevent the reoccurrence of the unfortunate event.
“We will schedule a date where we will meet again and whatever customs that are required, we will do it,” he said.
