The Ghana branch of the Believers’ Loveworld Incorporated also known as Christ Embassy, will mark the birthday of the founder of the church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome with a community service.
This year’s event which started on November 30 and will run through to December 7, is on the theme: ‘Service to Humanity’ is aimed at exhibiting the love of God to mankind.
Activities lined up for the week-long celebration which will be marked in all branches of Christ Embassy in Ghana, will include market clean up, filling potholes on the roads, free water supply, donation of medical equipment to hospitals, donation to orphanages and aged homes among others.
Speaking at the launch, administrative staff for the International Day of Service, Pastor Mary Osarume said they are elated to impact lives through humanitarian service.

“We are grateful for this opportunity to be able to render help and service to our fellow human beings and impact them with the gospel of Jesus Christ,” she stated.
Pastor Mary Osarume said they have set aside a week to undertake a number of social interventions aimed at rendering services to society.

“We thank God for the opportunity to be able to help other people because being a success means you are able to identify a human need and meet it,” she stressed.
Pastor Mary Osarume added their founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is not only about preaching the gospel but also giving back to society and that is what they as members have emulated.
The annual event is a direction by the founder, Pastor Dr. Chris Oyakhilome for the church members across the world to engage in massive charity programmes including donations to support community members as a sign of sharing and projecting the true Christ in them.
