Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited has been recognised for its sterling performance in the export business over the last two years, 2017 and 2018.
This was at the President's National Awards for Export Achievement, organised by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and held in Accra.
Kingdom Exim was honoured with three top awards all of which fall under both silver and gold categories. Whiles the company’s cashew nuts ‘exportability’ received a Gold award for the years 2017 and 2018; its yams received a silver award for the year 2018.
Speaking to JoyBusiness after receiving the awards, Chief Executive of the company, James Gnanaraj Rajamani said, “We are really honoured and humbled about this award and this is going to take our business to another level.”
The event, which was the fusion of the 27th and 28th editions, was on the theme, 'Fifty years of service to Ghana's export sector: rewarding excellence.'
It was to formally recognise the contribution of exporters in the non-traditional export (NTE) sector to economic growth and to encourage higher levels of performance by exporters among others.
Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited has been in the agricultural industry over a decade and is one of the leading exporters of Agro commodities in Ghana with its head office in Tema in the Greater Accra Region and has its branches all over Ghana and in the West African Region.
As an exporter of Agro Commodities, Kingdom Exim has its specialties in quality raw cashew nuts, soya beans, shea nuts, animal feed, yam, etc.
The company since its inception has applied many methods to ensure quality in the exportation of its agro products, implementing innovative methods linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality and competitiveness in the industry.
