Renowned football administrator, Abbey Pobi fingered Kotoko players their early exit in the CAF champions’ league.

The Porcupine Warriors could not go past the preliminary round  in the continental-club competition following defeat to Liberia's BYC over the weekend in Liberia, courtesy the away goal rule in which beleaguered goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama has been accused of taking an amount in the region of $3,000 from the officials of BYC to throw their champions league aspirations away.

I have been in football for long but this exit has been the worst ever in the history of Kotoko.

“They the players must be blamed for the early exit, l think they did not do enough to stay in the competition and they must be responsible for it”, said on Fire for fire.

 Meanwhile some cross session of  the Kotoko supporters have raised question marks about the commitment level of the playing level.

Pobi is the founder and president of former premier league side Neoplan stars ,now playing in the  a second tier league in Kumasi.

Kotoko will need to keep their title run going if they want to return to champions league action next year..
