Volunteers with NGO, Uriel Impact last Thursday thronged the Volta Region town, Ve, where the foundation donated 6,000 books to pupils of Ve Deme DA primary & JHS.

The foundation also visited five other schools in the Afadjato South Constituency in the region where they made similar donations to pupils.
The team, interacting with teachers, encouraged them to continue impacting knowledge into lives of their pupils for the betterment of Ghana.

The pupils on their part could do little to hide the joy and excitement when the Uriel team presented them with gifts.
They promised the team to put the books to judicious use.

According to the team, the Afadjato South area was chosen “not only because of its deprived nature, but also the first place the foundation visited when it was first founded.”
They embarked on this particular journey to celebrate the birthday of founder, Yayra Portia Klu.

Miss Klu tells JoyNews, the donation dubbed, "Back to School Project, forms part of her agenda to give back to the less fortunate in society.
“Giving is an act even though it’s done by most people, not everyone goes all out to give wholeheartedly without strings attached,” she said.
