Following their third straight defeat in the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier league, followers of Ashantigold fc are calling for the dismissal of both its head coach Bashir Hayford and CEO Cudjoe Fianoo with immediate effect.
The miners have lost their last three league matches against Bechem United, Hasaacas and Berekum Chelsea respectively an action that has not gone down well with its teeming fans who are calling for the head of both the coach and the CEO.
A member of the supporters group of Ashgold who revealed this to sportscrusaderonline.com said they are going to make their decision known to the Board over the weekend so as to see a lasting solution to the problem.
“We are not happy at all and we blame both the CEO and the coach for our recent slump in our performance. How can we lose three matches on the trot and till have the conviction that we are going to win the league? It’s impossible and I want to make it clear that very soon the Board will have to make some changes with regards to these two individuals.”
Another fan added, “our CEO has been here for so long that he has lost his focus and drive to lead the club. We must start looking for an alternative with fresh ideas”, he noted.
