The Black Stars technical team from Ghana left Accra for Podgorica on Sunday night for Wednesday’s international friendly against Montenegro.
The technical Ghanaian delegation is headed by coach Kwesi Appiah and his assistants Maxwell Konadu, Nassam Yakubu with team manager Sabahn Quaye also part of the team.
This will give the delegation ample time to arrive before players start trickling in for the match.
Only one home-based player goalkeeper Stephen Adams was part of the team following his heroics at the CHAN tournament in Suoth Africa last month.
The delightful news for the team however is the fact that several players who were on the injury have fully recovered to play a part in the match against Montenegro.
Wednesday’s friendly is expected to be played at the Atlanta Georgia Dome with both countries parading their potential World Cup squads for the encounter.
The team is expected to start training on Monday evening at the venue of the match.
