Unibank, the official bank of the senior national team, the Black Stars, will this afternoon launch an sms scheme that will enable fans to interact with its brand icons Asamoah Gyan and Kwesi Appiah on a daily basis, sportscrusaderonline.com can confirm.
This according to the bank is part of its measures to bring soccer loving Ghanaians closer to the national team especially the head coach and his captain.
The launch which will coincide with the unveiling of both personalities will take place in Podgorica Montenegro today, a day before the Black Stars lock horns with their Montenegro counterparts in an international friendly.
As part of the program, a short code which links to both personalities will be unveiled and subscribers will have the rare opportunity of interacting with both Gyan and Appiah on a daily basis.
"This has never happened before in Ghana and it’s our wish that fans will get the needed updates and interactions with these two gentlemen so as to feel part of the national team throughout its warm-up matches, training sessions, post and pre-match interviews as well as during the World Cup in Brazil”, a source at UniBank disclosed to sportscrusaderonline.com.
This will come as welcome news for all soccer loving Ghanaians who might not get the chance to meet both Asamoah Gyan and Kwesi Appiah personally, to ask questions as well as give their suggestions on a daily basis.
