Former Ghana Premier League side,Sekondi Eleven Wise has appointed former head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Johnson Smith as technical director of the club.
The club has also appointed Mr. Fitzgerald Josiah Kwofie onto its technical team as a technical advisor.
Until his appointment, Johnson Smith was head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars. The former Sekondi Eleven Wise player joins the technical team with valuable experience having served as head coach of defending Premier league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko and former premier league side Berekum Arsenal. He is expected to head the technical directorate of the club.
Mr. Fitzgerald Josiah Kwofie until his appointment was the General Director of Samin football club , a division one league club based in Sekondi-Takoradi. He also serves as the technical director of Kpando based Heart of Lions.
Their appointments take immediate effect and will last for the period of the National Division One Middle league subject to reappointment.
Management is of the view that these appointments will strengthen the team's technical department as the team prepares for the upcoming National Division One Middle League.
Management would however want to state categorically that Mr. Dedon Angelo remains Head Coach of the club and is expected to work hand-in-hand with the two technical directors.
Sekondi Eleven Wisee hav qualified for the National Middle league after finishing second in Zone 2B with 28 points and are bent of making of a return to the elite league.
