The victims are believed to be members of the church.
Members of the Calvary Methodist, Abuakwa Markro branch, were working on an extension of the church building after church services yesterday, when the wall collapsed on them.
A-58-year-old mother of six, Felicia Akomaa died instantly. Luv Fm’s Erastus Asare Donkor, who went to the scene of the accident reported the collapsed structure was weak.
Erastus said four others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Five more were believed to have suffered minor injuries.
23 year old Steven Adu Gyamfi, who was one of the discharged victims of the incident said they were busy erecting a new wall, when he heard shouts that the wall was collapsing.
