Hiplife music group, VIP and its newest member, Reggie Rockstone will release its first single on April 11.
The single, titled 'Selfie', comes weeks after Reggie Rockstone confirmed that he was now a full time member of the group which has been in existence for about two decades now.
Reggie Rockstone, tagged as 'The Godfather' of hiplife joined VIP, now known as V.V. Eye Pee, after Emmanuel Ababio (Promzy) left the music group in October 2013.
Reggie confirmed to Myjoyonline.com early this year that he is now officially a member of the group, also made up of Joseph Nana Ofori (Prodigal), and Abdul Hamid Ibrahim (Lazzy now Zeal).
The 'Selfie' single will be released on radio on Reggie Rockstone's birthday - April 11 - and the day has been tagged "a good day to take a picture."
Nana Asiama Hanson (Bulldog), manager of the group, disclosed to Myjoyonline.com that V.V. Eye Pee has recorded two singles so far - 'Selfie' and 'Hiplife' - and they are "working on the rest" to release an album..
V.V. Eye Pee will hold a release party on a yet to be announced date for singles which will also see them perform for the first time as a new group.
