Prophet Albert Asihene- Arjarquah of the Koforidua Calvary Assemblies of God Church, Ghana and sensational gospel musician, Selina Boateng are to embark on a prisons tour nationwide to donate and minister the gospel of Christ to the inmates.
The tour is scheduled to begin this month at the Koforidua Prisons with a donation of church instruments worth 10,000 cedis.
This was disclosed by Prohet Arjarquah on Sunday during "Higher Dimensions Summit" held in the Calvary Assembly of the Assemblies of God Church in Koforidua.
The program was organized for the youth and singles in the church. Selina Boateng, who was guest artiste charged the spirit filled congregants with almost two hours of worship and praises which led to lots of testimonies, healing and deliverance.
Prophet Arjarquah in an interview said the aim of the tour is to transform the lives of the inmates through the evangelism and song ministration.
He admonished churches to intensify evangelism in prisons to ensure spiritual transformation and total reformation of inmates.
According to him, the current conditions at the prisons in the country, only serve to harden the prisoners all the more with some engaging in many immoral acts.
He said there is the need for the Gospel to be preached to the inmates for them to grab the message of salvation and to exhibit God fearing lifestyles.
Prophet Arjarquah was provoked to embark on the Prisons tour following his first experience at the Koforidua Prison, few months ago, where he presented food stuffs to the inmate.
He said after interacting and assessing the conditions of the inmates, it was evident that the inmates needed the gospel to be ministered to them to transform and give them hope in life.
He said most of the inmates have shown remorse and are ready to give their lives to Christ .
He entreated Christians to regularly visit and fellowship with prison inmates.
