The Commonwealth Women's Antarctic Expedition is inviting Ghanaian women to apply urgently to join the team.
The expedition will see eight women from eight different Commonwealth countries - Cyprus, Ghana, India, Singapore, Brunei, New Zealand, Jamaica and the UK, - brave blizzards, crevasses and temperatures below - 50C as they ski over 500 miles across Antarctica to the Geographic South Pole.
A statement from the expedition said interested women should fill the form on the website: www.commonwealthexpedition.com by 6 pm on Friday, August 22.
"Anyone from Ghana who has been thinking about making an application to join the expedition should get writing now! Applications will close tomorrow (Friday 22nd August) at 6pm! Simply go to the 'Application Form' page and get writing!" the statement said.
