The Health Centre in Kedzebi in the Kedzebi-Akan district of the Volta Region is to be upgraded to cater for the needs of the people especially pregnant women and children.
The hospital's rehabilitation which is 80 per cent complete has two wards and a theatre.
The District has 44 CHPS Zones with only five CHPS Compound with three other compounds expected to be completed later this year.
District director of health services in Kedzebi Dr Gasu said efforts are being made to improve health services in the district
DCE for Kedzebi Akan District Jacob Alebinde Asogonnde said , various strategies have been adopted to improve maternal health in the district with support from PLAN Ghana.
He said through Women And Their Children`s Health [WATECH] project and a lot has been done to improve upon the health needs of the people.
The DCE also mentioned other infrastructural developments including road networks that have been constructed by Assembly.
