Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday opened a seven point gap ahead of Kumasi Asante Kotoko when they snatched a late winner against Ashgold at Obuasi on Wednesday in their 25 week league game.
Asante Kotoko held Kpando Heart of Lions to a one-all game at Kpando, while Great Olympics hammered relegation threatened power FC by 4:2 at the Ho stadium.
In other matches Real Sportive fought from a goal down to beat Berekum Arsenals 2:1 at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium.
Hasaacas also beat Bofoakwa 2:0 at the Gyandu Park, while King Faisal defeated All Blacks also by 2:0.
At Swedru, the game between Feyenoord and RTU was rained off while Liberty and Tema Youth will honour their clash on Thursday.
