A man said to be in his early 30s was Sunday afternoon found hanging on a mango tree at Juapong in the Volta Region after he went missing last Thursday.
The man whose name was given only as Evans is said to be a staff of the Volta Star Textiles Company Limited.
Although it appears to be a suicide, some residents fear foul play.
An eyewitness told Joy News although the deceased’s neck was in the loop of the rope that hanged him, his knees were touching the ground.
“If it was suicide, then he should have hanged himself above that level”, the eyewitness said.
As at the time of filing this report, police were yet to arrive at the scene of the incident.
