Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Charles Palmer-Buckle has admonished Ghanaians to make the most out of their lives like the late Paul Victor Obeng, instead of praying for more years on earth.
“The number of years lived doesn’t matter. What matters most is what you are able to do whilst alive”, he said.
He made this remark during a sermon at the remembrance mass service for the late PV Obeng at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at Community 2, Tema.
Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle believes, the late PV Obeng paid his dues and served mankind to the best of his ability and should be emulated by the living.
Meanwhile, a leading member of NDC, Nana Ato Dadzie speaking to Adom News, called on Ghanaians to pray to God to bless Ghana with another PV Obeng.
“PV is irreplaceable but we may have people who are similar to him. Trying to replace him is impossible. God in His infinite wisdom may raise more PVs”, he assured.
According to Nana Ato Dadzie, PV was a political animal but believed in the ideas and views of others and this made him very easy to go with, even when there was a change of government from NDC to NPP.

Many well-wishers including family, friends, politicians, chiefs among many others filled the Good Shepherd Church to bid the late Paul Victor Obeng farewell.
