The level of homelessness is seen mostly in the night. But when you chance upon a seller, hawker or head porter finding space to sleep in open air and in the day, then the phenomena may be getting worse
It is generally accepted that three social agents influence how a person finally turns out; family, government and the individual.
In the case of these sleeping women, it is not that three social agents have failed them. That is not in doubt. It is the extent to which this failure has wrecked their lives, reducing God's gift to the world into a desperate and daily search for bread and butter.
