Talent Microfinance services Ltd has, as part of its social responsibility roofed the toilet facility of Mawuli school in Ho which was ripped off during a heavy thunderstorm in April.
The heavy down pour that hit the Ho municipality affected several homes, shops and schools.
Some of these schools are Nuriya Islamic school, Methodist Basic School and Anglican Basic School. All these school have received support from the Ho municipal hospital and the Muslim community in Ho.
Talent Microfinance services Ltd came to the rescue of the school after their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kwame Frimpong Manso heard of the plight of the school as highlighted on Joy FM and its affiliate in Ho -Volta Premier FM
The company spent ₵3,000 to put a new roof on the facility and rewired the structure.
Explaining how timely the support was, the house master of Trost House, Wisdom Kukah said students of his house had to run to other houses to use the toilet facilities because theirs was not in good condition.
Expressing his appreciation to Talent microfinance services Ltd and to Joy FM at a handing over ceremony, the headmaster of the school Osei Nyansah admonished other corporate organizations to emulate the good gesture by Talent Microfinance Ltd.
The branch manager of the company Raymond Dasah asked the school to take good care of the facility.
