Ghana has made it to the finals of the Wafu Cup tournament after beating Ivory Coast in the semi-finals on Monday.
The Black Satellites won the game 2-1, thus extending their winning run at the tournament to five games.
Latif Salifu put Ghana in the lead before the Ivorians cancelled it out. But Daniel Addo was on hand to give Ghana the match winner when he scored in injury time.
Ghana would play familiar opponents, Senegal in the tournament’s finals scheduled for Wednesday.
The national Under-20 side started off the tournament by beating the Senegalese in the opening Group B game 2-0 as the Black Satellites went on to win four other games ahead of their final game.
The Wafu competition started with 16 teams, out of which two sides have made it to the finals.
Nigeria is hosting the Wafu Cup tournament.
