In a great show of political maturity, the ruling National Democratic Congress and opposition New Patriotic Party all cite their constituency office in the same office building at Kasoa on the Nyayano road in the Central Region.
The next office neighbour of of the NDC is their arch rivals NPP making the Lord's exhortation to love your neighbour as yourself a pretty testy instruction.
Having meetings so close to each other with no reported cases of secret recordings and verbal clashes is laudable.
The over 20 years rivalry between the two parties which has sometimes in the past resulted in violence, has given way to more credible demonstration of political maturity.
Ghana's stature as a beacon of electoral democracy is no longer a debate.
Come 2016 Ghana will hopefully pass the test, and put the pre-election peace industry to a permanent rest.
