Wednesday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Black Stars and the Syli National of Guinea will start at 4pm at the Tamale Stadium, the Ghana Football Association, (GFA) has declared.
Joy Fm correspondent in Tamale, Ell Samuels says tickets for the big match will be on sale on Wednesday morning at the Stadium premises. Tickets for the VIP section will cost GHS10 while tickets for the popular stands and wings will all go for GHS5 only.
The delegation of the Black Stars, which played 1-1 in the Morocco encounter in Casablanca, arrived in Accra Sunday Night aboard a chartered flight.
The GFA is said to call on spectators coming for the crucial encounter to don the national colours of red, gold and green in order to endow the arena with glamour and inspire the Black Stars.
This is the first match the Black Stars are playing in Tamale in a very long while and they are pleading with the people, residents of Tamale and environs and indeed football lovers from across the length and breadth of the country, to turn out in large numbers to cheer the Black Stars to victory.
