Juventus boss Maximiliano Allegri is hoping to get either Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah or Frenchman Patrice Evra for the away clash against Malmo FF in Sweden, Wednesday.
Both players are injured which has left the Bianconeri handicapped in the left wing back role, but the former Milan boss insists one of them will be fit to face the Swedish top-flight side in the Champions League campaign.
Simon Padoin, who deputised for the duo, did not live up to expectation and was sent off in the 71st minute for a second bookable offense against Lazio.
“We are hoping to have two of our important elements at the left wing back role which is either Asamoah or Evra for the game with Malmo,” Allegri told Eurocalcio. “The 3-0 win over Lazio has given us the confidence for the game on Wednesday.”
Juventus who are second in Group A but tied with third placed Olympiacos at six points need a win in Sweden to push them further to qualification.
