After a magnificent but lengthy event in Malabo two nights ago, the chips are now down. Africa's football elites have been paired in arguably one of the most competitive draws with Groups C and D making the headlines.
The group pairings that were churned out were to be expected given Caf's seeding system which put premium on history and pedigree rather than current form.
In Group C who wins the tactical battle as Ghana's Avram Grant , South Africa's Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba, Algeria's Christian Gourcuff and Senegal's Alain Giresse go head to head.
