The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North, Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye is threatening to place an injunction on the much anticipated congress of the NDC slated for December 20.
The injunction, according to the MP who is also vying for the National Organizer position, is to cause the vetting committee of the party to halt their intention of disqualifying him from the race.
He claimed there has been orchestrated scheme to get him out of the race. He suspects the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia is behind the plot. He said the NDC scribe is spreading rumour that he, Aboagye Didieye, has withdrawn from the contest.
This announcement, Mr. Didieye said in an interview with Adom News that it is a ploy by certain factions within the party to get him out of the race.
He has therefore threatened to head to court to seek an injunction on the NDC congress if the party leadership fails to be transparent and fair in organising the event.
