Delegates at the National Democratic Congress Youth Congress dethroned the incumbent Youth Organiser of the party in a shocking elections held Saturday.
Sidii Abubakar Musah polled an overwhelming 382 votes to beat the incumbent Ludwig Hlordze who could only manage a 196 votes.
The elections also saw Abubakar Mutiu polling 89 votes with Price Kassim and Paa Kwesi all polling seven and four votes respectively.
Marcus Garvin Adampah did not get to contest at all because he was dropped, Joy News' Kwakye Afreh Nuamah reported.
The results come just few weeks to the governing party's delegates conference scheduled for Kumasi from December 17-20
The Conference will be to elect new leaders or retain elected ones.
Three aspirants are contesting the party's chair- Dr Kwabena Adjei- are Kofi Portuphy, Mr Dan Abodakpi and Alhaji Hudu Yahaya.
For the General secretary position two people are vying for the contest- incumbent Asiedu Nketia, and Abdul Ishaq Farrakhan.
Other positions in contention are the National Organiser position, Vice Chairmanship slots and a number of other positions.
