In the heat of the 2012 general elections, many promises were made by the NDC and other parties with the view to winning power and deliver on those promises.
Key among those promises was power and energy.
In one of those campaign promises which was crafted in a typical Ghanaian cultural setting with an elderly man telling young men and women stories, the John Mahama led government minced no words in assuring Ghanaians of a whopping 5000 megawatts of power which would provide reliable and affordable power to all.
"There will be so much power that Ghanaians are going to enjoy constant and quality supply of energy," the advert said.
Two years into John Mahama's administration would you say the promise on power delivered in a Kweku Ananse setting has been adequately achieved?
