The Every Ghanaian Living Everywhere Party (EGLE) acknowledges that once again it is that time of year when goodwill is spread amongst all mankind.
Even as we have faced many challenges in this outgoing year, we must remember that there are parts of this world where things are much worse. We must continue to thank God for bringing us thus far through very trying times and in the same vein pray for those brothers and sisters of ours who continue to fight the scourge of deadly Ebola and unthinkable acts of terrorism.
We salute our men and women in uniform who continue to maintain the peace that supports our enviable democracy.
We certainly hope that in the coming year we would be able to surmount the challenges which confronted us in 2014. There is only one Ghana and it is worth praying for. We pray for our leaders, farmers, health workers, children, workers, and all who in their diverse ways continue to make sacrifices to uphold the flag of our nation.
In the sprit of Christmas, we encourage all who may have a little bit more to share with the less fortunate in our society. We must remember that this season is all about Christ and that Christ is about giving, sacrifice and hope. Therefore in the spirit of Christmas let us continue to hope for the best, sacrifice a little bit more and give our very best to this dear nation of ours.
Let us be more tolerant of one another and strive for an accident-free season.
Merry Christmas to you all Owuraku o fah
