Asamoah Gyan will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday to witness the final presser for the Tagoe- Momba bout @ 13:00 GMT at the press center of the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Ghana striker will touchdown by afternoon having helped Al Ain move joint-top in the Arabian Gulf League and later join the Black Stars for preparations ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations
The 29-year-old is uncharacteristically behind the goal-scoring charts by eight goals having missed six games of the season due to injury.
He is however expected to catch up in the goal-scoring contest when the league resumes in February. Gyan will be in Accra for brief holidays during the Christmas festivities.
He will however be kept quite busy by his boxing syndicate with the staging of a bout on Friday.
The former Sunderland is coming off a highly successful year in terms of his individual performance.
He emerged the all-time leading African in the history of the World Cup finals with his two goals in this year’s edition staged in Brazil.
He then led Al Ain to the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League where he finished the campaign as top scorer with a tally of 12.
Gyan was eventually named as the Best Foreign Player in Asia and has also be nominated for the CAF African Player of the Year award.
The striker will be hoping to lead Ghana to Nations Cup success next January in Equatorial Guinea.
The Black Stars must however do it the hard way as they have been drawn in the toughest group at the 2015 AFCON alongside South Africa, Algeria and Senegal.
