The GSE All-share index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Accra bourse, slumped in active trading on Thursday that saw more 1.2 million shares changing hands.The index was down by 17.8 points at 8,822.91 points from 8,840.71 points. Change for the year to date now stands at -15.42 per cent.Traded volumes slipped to 1,265,600 shares from 1,421,500 with Ghana Commercial Bank selling 1.15 million shares.Market capitalisation closed the session down at GH¢17,751.90 million from GH¢17,764.85 million.On the broader market, there were five price changes – four down and one up.Ghana Commercial Bank gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.60; Aluworks lost GH¢0.05 at GH¢0.50; Goil was GH¢0.01 poorer at GH¢0.28 and UT slipped by GH¢0.03 at GH¢0.20. The sole gainer was SG-SSG which was GH¢0.01 better at GH¢0.56.Source: GNA
