FC Sion striker Ebenezer Assifuah has been invited to train with the Black Stars as their non residential camp.
The striker who scored seven times last season but is yet to find the net this season is a late inclusion as a contingency measure with uncertainty surrounding Trabzonspor striker Abdul Majeed Waris.
The usual strike partner of Asamoah Gyan limped off during a league game over the weekend and his status is one the technical team is worried about.
Assifuah will join Sogndal forward Mahatma Otoo who was also invited to train with the team on Thursday at the Lizzy Sports Complex.
