Algeria coach Christian Gourcuff says his team will have no special plans for the return of Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan.
Speaking to the press ahead of their clash on Friday in Mongomo, Gourcuff admitted to the importance of Gyan to the Ghanaian team.
"We all know how important Gyan is to the Ghanaian team and it is good for them that he is returning but we are not going to prepare anything special to accommodate his return."
Leading group C after their 3-1 win over South Africa, Gourcuff emphasised the need to reduce the defensive mistakes that plagued his team in the first half of that game if they are to continue their good form.
"I watched the videos of the game against South Africa and we made too many mistakes. We must cut them all out against an opponent who is also very strong."
With all his players training on Thursday, the Desert Foxes have a full squad of players to pick from on Friday as they seek to qualify automatically with a win.
