Referee Hamada el Moussa Nampiandraza of Madagasca, has been appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to handle the third group C game between Ghana and South Africa at the Estadio De Mongomo, Mongomo on Tuesday, January 23.
Referee Nampiadraza, will be assisted by Evarust Menkounde of Cameroon and Songuifolo Yeo of Cote D’ Ivoire with Janny Sikazwe from Zambia as the fourth referee, whilst Ugandan Charles Masembe will be the Match Commissioner.
Referee Nampiandraza, is one of the experienced referees in the continent and was at the last Nations Cup in South Africa. Ghana and South Africa will battle for one of the quarter-final slots in the 30th Africa Cup of Nations underway in Equatorial Guinea.
A win for both sides will see any of them progressing to the next stage of the competition.
