Ghana made their own piece of history when they beat Guinea 3-0 in the African Cup of Nations quarter finals game on Sunday.
The victory not only ensures Avram Grant's side their third consecutive victory in the tournamen, but gives Ghana their fifth consecutive semi final berth at the biggest African showpiece.
A brace from Christian Atsu helped Ghana to a 3-0 win over Guinea in the quarterfinals of the 2015 African Cup of Nations at the Estadio De Malabo on Sunday.
After the match, Black Stars head coach Avram Grant heaped praises on his team, saying his side's performance is the best in the tournament thus far.
"This is a very big win for us. In footballing terms, this is the best performance from my team," Grant told a section of the press.
"My players showed character and created a lot of chances which we we were able to score three out of it. I know we could have scored more but all the same, we deserve to win. The victory is the most important thing."
