Information gathered by JOY Sports has revealed that Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo is owed three months of unpaid salary and part of his signing on fee.
According to sources within the club, Addo, since November 2014 has not been paid his monthly amount of GHC 8,500 and the remainder of his signing on fee of GHC 25,000 for the two years.
The experienced trainer has come under heavy criticisms for amassing only 4 points out of a possible 16 points and lie 12th position on the league table.
It is believed the poor showing by the team in the ongoing First Capital plus League is as result of his low financial motivation.
Meanwhile, the club’s spokesperson Muheeb Said says he has no knowledge of the financial details of the coach and that the best person to provide details will be the financial administrator, Hackman Aidoo.
Efforts to get him has proved futile.
The Phobians will face Liberty Professionals on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium and the fans have vowed to see the coach out if he fails to win against the Dansoman lads.
