Ex- Black Stars deputy skipper and an AFCON pundit on Supersport Sammy Osei Kufuor had his hair shaved on set after Ghana suffered a painful loss to Ivory Coast in a grueling AFCON final.
The once dependable defender in a show of patriotism put his bet on a Ghana win, with a promise to have his hair shaved live on set if the results went the other way. It did.
Ghana lost 9-8 on penalties with Barry’s last kick of glory breaking the hearts of Ghanaians.
Sammy Osei Kuffuor did not only have his heart broken, he lost his hair in an unorthodox, yet dramatic fashion.

He went on set with a slightly bushy hair and an equally bushy beard hoping the Black Stars would win so keeps his hair, at least for a few days before going to the barbers but with Ivory Coast winning the tournament, Kuffuor's hair had to give way.
Robert Marawa, host of the Supersport show, turned himself into a barber and yanked off Kufuor’s hair with glee and a little smile on his face.
