Some 365 residents in three communities in the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region remain homeless after a rainstorm struck last Wednesday.
Joy News’ correspondent, Peter Addison Senoo, reports that the displaced persons in Ahamansu, Mempeasem and Titiaka are currently putting up with families in nearby communities.
“According to official figures from the Kadjebi District office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), over 91 families and their 144 dependants, were affected by the rainstorm.
"The victims, over the past days, have had to put up with other family and community members or in open spaces and uncompleted buildings,” Peter reports on Saturday.
He said victims are yet to receive any support from NADMO.
