Some musicians and music hobbyist have come together to create a hymn that aims at getting people through the tough times caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
‘Zamar: Help of the Helpless’ is a production inspired by the Canadian anthem and Henry Francis Lyte Abide With Me.
“These are musicians and music hobbyists carrying a simple message, calling on the help of the helpless to abide with us all during this eventide as the darkness deepens,” according to an inscription that precedes the video accompanying the song.
The hymn, released on April 15, was, however, prerecorded before to the lockdown directive and its extension.
The video hence features the artiste performing the song from their various homes pieced together to create ‘no concept’ video.
