ACE Power promotions donate to Dansoman Polyclinic

Newly formed Boxing Promotions company, ACE Power Promotions Limited, on Monday donated some items to the Dansoman Polyclinic in Accra.

The donation is part of efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and in response to the government’s call to support its efforts.

The items include 30 pieces of reusable face masks, 10 bottles of hand sanitizers, two Veronica buckets, bottles of liquid soap, tissues and a box of 100 gloves.

The items were presented by the Corporate and Legal Affairs Director of ACE Power Promotions, Kizito Akudago. Also present for the presentation were three of the company’s boxers, Dodzi Kemeh, Kofi Manu and Holy Dorgbetor.

Mr. Akudago stated that, even though ACE Power promotions is a young company that has barely made any profits, the company saw it necessary to show appreciation to the health workers of the country for their sacrifice and dedication.

He noted that the front line workers such as the nurses at the OPD department needed some form of protection and hence the need to support them with these items.

He appealed to other organizations and especially to the communities in which these health facilities are located to step up and support the various health facilities across the country no matter how little. Such acts of kindness, he insisted, will protect our health workers and save lives.

In receiving the items, the Medical Director of the Dansoman Polyclinic, Dr Anderson thanked ACE Power Promotions for this act of kindness.

She stated that these items especially the face masks were badly sought after items. She added that Dansoman Polyclinic was the only government clinic in the area and serves people stretching from Dansoman to Gbawe, McCarthy and beyond.

The Medical Assistant present also thanked the company for the items on behalf of the nurses. She was hoping that others will emulate this gesture.
