On JoyNews’ Beyond the Lockdown show today, Emefa Apawu will host the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
They will discuss whether or not Ghana is really at the peak of the Covid-19 curve and what Ghanaians should expect after eight weeks of no public gatherings.

Emefa will also host religious leaders – the Apostle General of the Royal House Chapel International, Sam Koranchie Ankrah; Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church and Chairman of the Christian Council, Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo; spokesperson for the National Chief Imam and Muslim Scholar, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu and the Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops Conference Rev. Fr. Lazarus Anondee.
As a push is being made for the ban on public gatherings to be lifted to enable churches to hold services again, these leaders will be sharing their stance on the matter.

Already, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has appealed to government to immediately formulate safety guidelines for churches to pave way for them to resume worship activities to resume.
The GPCC says churches the structures and capacity to roll out effective social distancing and safety measures.

Beyond the Lockdown will come off at 7:30 om on JoyNews TV. It will also be live on MyJoyOnline.com, Joy FM and all JoyNews’ social media handles.
