Less than 24 hours after the death of Pastor Emmanuel Apraku, popularly known as ‘Apraku My Daughter’ was confirmed on Instagram by blogger Kofi Adomah, social media users are questioning the circumstances that led to his demise.
The pastor, who had earlier been seen in a trending video; drunk and struggling to stay on his feet, had got many talking with some wondering what happened to him over the years.
The video also got people questioning if the late pastor committed suicide out of shame or got involved in an accident during his drunk state.
The debate on social media also includes questions on his legitimacy as a ‘Man of God’ and why the separation from his wife and family.
Some Ghanaians also used the opportunity to caution other popular men of God in the country, including Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim who is currently in police custody over failure to meet his bail requirements, to be careful in their dealings with people and their relationship with God.
If Apraku My Daughter’s death is suicide the now we all know how social media has serious mental effects.
