A former flagbearer aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that Ghanaians are yearning for a return of the party to power.
Nurideen Iddrisu said the NDC did tremendous work during its eight years in power.
He said the country is going in the wrong direction in terms of its developmental agenda due to the mismanagement f the country's economy coupled with broken promises adding that luck will surely sign on the NDC in the 2020 polls.
Mr Iddrisu said this when he presented a Nissan double pickup and 33 motorbikes to the NDC Wa Central constituency.
He said the is motivated by the enthusiasm among the grassroots supporters of the party and Ghanaians yearning for the return of the NDC.
Mr Iddrisu stated that has no scintilla of doubt that the signs are crystal clear for luck smile on the 2020 polls.
He noted the track record of the NDC in government led by former president John Mahama will sway the voters to their side than one led by president Akufo-Addo which is replete with broken promises.
Member of Parliament for Wa Central constituency, Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo whose constituency is a beneficiary of the benevolence of the former flagbearer aspirant said, the failed promises by the governing NPP is the needed push for the NDC to come back to power.
