The fourth edition of Ghana’s largest design conference that brings together graphic designers, animators, brand strategists, photographers, videographers and advertising creatives, dEXArtmosphere has been scheduled for Sunday, August, 30.
dEXArtmosphere is a Ghana-based design festival that creates an avenue that empowers creatives with educational resources and action-driven knowledge to help them pursue excellence in their craft.
Artmosphere has been a physical event with a total of over 1,000 participants in the past two years.
However, due to Covid-19, this year’s event has been translated online with speakers from across Africa.
This year’s edition themed, ‘Creative Entrepreneurship: Bankable Skillsets’ for the workplace, is focused on equipping design entrepreneurs with valuable skill sets that will drive business growth, profitability and sustainability.
The speakers for this edition will include Sunita Kragbe, Founder of Basecamp Initiative in Ghana, Osmond Tshuma, Creative Director at Mam’gobozi Design Factory in South Africa, Yaa Boateng, Creative & Brand Specialist in Ghana, Nana K. Duah, Principal & Creative Director of Oxygen in Ghana and Tunji Ogunoye, Founder of Dear Designer and Design Partner at Fourth Canvas in Nigeria.
According to dEX Ghana’s President, Daniel Ampofo, even though Covid-19 didn’t make a physical event possible, it didn’t stop us from finding an avenue to get creatives to share knowledge.
Covid-19 proved that creatives make a great contribution to any industry. The use of designs, animations, videos in spreading the message of prevention showed that design is essential to the world.
dEXArtmosphere 4.0 will stream LIVE onFacebook and Youtube at 2:30pm.
dEXArtmosphere is curated by dEX Ghana with support from Ninety3 Studios, Lime and Honey, VOME, Effect Studios, Hooks Communications, Ink Flare, Nairobi Design Week and Dear Designer Nigeria.
