A fire erupted in central Beirut’s commercial district on Tuesday, Lebanese broadcasters reported.
Broadcaster al-Jadeed said a landmark building designed by the late British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid was on fire.
The building was close to completion after years of construction.
